Wildfire risk in Pa. grows with dry weather, dead leaves — Hershey Community news

Central Pennsylvania faces an elevated wildfire risk Friday as a cold front in the state brings gusty winds and very low humidity following nearly two weeks without measurable rainfall. The National Weather Service warns that conditions are primed for rapid fire spread, with relative humidity values dropping into the 30s and 40s percent range and northwest wind gusts expected between 20 and 30 mph this afternoon.
